From Micropatronage

One of the key points of historic patronage is the social status imparted by being a patron. Micropatronage has the potential to minimize this aspect, by making the patrons anonymous, but it also has the potential to amplify it. What if there was some sort of universal recognition of a person's contributions throughout the community? Something like Whuffie perhaps. How would we go about making this happen?

A start is listing all of your patrons on your site. Patrons should be encouraged to do the same: list all of the people/sites that they support on their own site.
